IRISH M.P. PREFERS GAOL. London, November 1. Mr. L. Ginnell, JI.P., has been imprisoned for non-payment of his fine. [Mr. Ginnell, who is a barrister and one of the founders of the Irish Literary Society in London, was prosecuted a few months ago on a charge of entering a prison under a false name • to ; speak to Sinn Fein prisoners. On Jane 15 he visited Stafford Gaol, and addressing some of the'lrish rebels incarcerated there, said: "We are proud of you; you have done more for the Irish cause than anyone'"has done for years. We recognise you as martyrs, and want you to do the same again.'
