AN'ANNOUNCEMENT. We have to announce that the eec6nd series of 1916 "Studebaker" cars are now on their way to New Zealand, per 8.8. Pakoha, from Montreal, due to arrive shortly. These ears come ; from the Canndian assembling and finishing branch, Walkerville, Ontario and are remarknblo for their exceptionally fine finish, necessitated by the demands of the overseas Studebaker trade. Many valuable detail improvements are incorporated in the second series modelß, one of the most noteworthy of these being the', provision of independent and separately adjustable front: seats of the "bucket" type, together with adjustable pedals. This refinement shonld especially appeal to the lady driver or the exceptionally tall or short man, whose comfort is not ade3uately provided for by the usual fixed imensions in the front of the car. Another important modification is tho relegation of the petrol tank to the rear of the car, and the provision of a verv effi;ient, vacuum feed to oarbuxetter. Thero are many minor modifications and improvements; all designed to add to the oomfort and convenience of both driver and passengers, while in appearance the car is handsomer than ever.
