PROTEST BY NATIONAL DAIRY ASSOCIATION. (Special Reporter.) Palmorston North, Nov. 2. Tho executive of tho National Dairy Association met hero last evening, and, on the motion of Mr. A. Morton (chairman of tho executive), passed tho following resolution: — "That this mooting of tho executive of tho National Dairy Association of Now Zealand, in tho interests of thoso it represents, protests Jn tho strongest possiblo terms against tho Government proposal to deprivo tho dairy farmors of tho Dominion of their undoubted riglit to sell their produce at its market valuo within ■ tho Empire, and maintains that no sufficient reasons havo been given for such interference, inasmuch as it is essentially a class tax, unfair in its incidonco, and will press with unduo effect upon many sottlcrs who aro struggling WuTi increased Taxation and a corresponding advance in the cost or living and all farming requisites, and that a'copy of this resolution should ho sont to the Hon. \\. D. S. Mac Donald, Minister of Agriculture."-
