The Pope instructed tho Apostolic Delegate at Constantinople to inquire regarding unfavourable reports of the condition of the Allies' graves on Gallipoli. The Delegate was informed that the graves at Ari Burnu, , Suvla. Bay, Anafarta, and Seddul Bahr were in a decorous.condition. Some of the latter had been damaged by bombs, but Enver Pasha had instructed repairs fa be made. The Turkish Government guarantees the ' preservation of the graves.
