The. -vessel left Sydney at noon on Thursday, and encountered slight teas end strong south-east winds. She had Iranshipments from the following vessels:—bonoma Anim.io. Tango Horn, Kitsn Moru, 'IVimoii Maru, Cumberland, St. .Albans, Port Napier. Oalio, and liurwntt, included in which wore: 200 hags and 144 sacks salt, 70 cases cotton goods. 150 chests of tea. Ztf sacks flour, 545 sacks pollard, 1212 nieces timber, and 1580 cases of fruit. Tho vessel leaves here to-day lor Lyttelton. and is duo back on Thursday. Tho fine American sailer Goldfln Gate, which arrived at Auckland on Saturday from San Francisco, is at present putting out, part cargo at that port. She left San Francisco on Scptemher 9. for Auckland and made the early part of her trip in heavy weather. The last section of the voyage was fine, and made with licht winds The master, Captain Burgess, says thai the last, round trip from San ' Francisco to Auckland. Wellington, and then hack'to her Amorican port was a record for the run in consideration ol the fact that she handled two cargoes— one for Auckland and. one for Wellington. Tho Alexander will sail for Nelson and West Coast to-day, not missing the call at Nelson, as usual. Mr. Turner, local agent for tho Blackball Ooal Company, advises that, the !Jgakuta, which arrived in nort from Greymouth on Sunday, will not now leave for Greymouth until Thureday. Also that tho Ngahero will not leave Greymouth for Wellington until Thureday, and is due hero on Saturday. The barque Rothesay Bay, 699 ton«, has been chartered to load salt, gypsum, and hark during March-April next at Adelaide, Edithburc, for Auckland.
