„. AN ANNOUNCEMENT. Wo have to announce that the second series of 1916 "Studebaker" cars are now' on their way to New Zealand, por a.a. Pakeha, from Montreal, due to arriva shortly. These cars come from the Cam ndian assembling and finishing branch, Waikerville, Ontario, and are remarkoblo for their exceptionally fine finish, necessitated by the demands of the overjeas Studebaker trade. Many valuable detail improvements are incorporated in the second series models, one of the most noteworthy of these being the provision of independent and separately adjustable front seats of the "bucket" type, to, gether with adjustable pedals. This re-* finoment should especially appeal to the lady driver or the exceptionally tall or short man, whose comfort is not adew' quately provided for by the usual fixed dimensions in the front of the car, AnV other important modification is the relegation of the petrol tank to the rear of the car, and the provision of a verv efficient vacuum feed to carburetter. Thera are many minor modifications and improvements, all designed to add to ths comfort and convenience of 'both driver and passengers, while in appearance tha car is handsomer than ever. The new Studebakers will be on viow at Studebaker Agencies shortly, and all interested in the latest developments in American automobile desira are invited to inspect them.
