FORECAST AND SUMMARY , AT 4 P.M. YESTERDAY. Present indications are for strong south, easterly winds and a rising barometer everywhere soon. Expect unsettled, clondyand colder weather, with rain generally, and heavy rain probable in the northernmost districts, and on the East Ooast northward of Kaikoura. Moderate to strong westerly to southerly winds have predominated, and the weather has been very changeable, with ram at times in most parts of the Dominion. ..
