NOTICE is hereby given that at a Special Meeting of tho Wellington City Council, held on tho 19th day of October, 1916, tho following resolution was passed:— Tho Wellington City Council hereby makes by Special Order tho follow-. . ing By-law, -under tho provisions of tho Municipal Corporations Act, 1908, "Tho PubLo Health Aot, 1908," and their amendments, and in exercise end pursuance of all other powers and authorities (if any) on.abling It in that bohalf. Tho Short Titlo of this By-law is "Tho Wellington ' City By-law (Fly Nuisanoe) No. 28, 1916." The object and purport of tho By-law are:— (1) To amend tho Wellington City Bylaw No. 1, 808, by adding to Clauso 251 thoreof a Clauso requiring tho occupier of every stablo in tho City daily to spray all manure on or about tho premises with an approved mixture to tho extent necessary, to destroy all fly larvao. ■ (2) By adding after Clauso 251 thereof, as amended, tho following new clause, 251 A. ' '..-', ■' 251 A. That if at any time fly larvae are found in any manure in the City to such extent that jn the opinion of any Inspector of Nuisances tho existence of such larvae causes danger to the public health, tho occupier of tho premises on which such manure is situated shall be guilty of an offenco against this By-law. , And Notico is hereby further given that the said resolution will bo submitted for confirmation at the Ordinary Mooting of tho Wellington City Counoil, to be held on THURSDAY, tho 16th day of NOVEMBER, 1316, at tho Council Chamber, Town Hall, Cuba Sheet, Wellington, at 8 p.m., when the date on which tho said By-law will come into forco will bo fixed. A full copy of this By-law is deposited at tho office of the Town Clerk to tha said Council, at the Town Hall, Cuba Streot, and may bo inspected there by all persons- during the ordinary office hours.
