The following temporary appointments have bean approved by tho Camp Commandant at Featherston: Corpl.W. Hansford, H Coy., 20th, to be sergent; Lce.-Corpls. W. Howatt, F. Gray, D. Dovlin, H Coy., 20th, to be corporals; Lco.-Corpl. H. H. Maxwell, E Coy., 20th, to bo corporal; Ptcs. E. R. Nicholson F.' J. MaoKridge, Camp Commandant's Offioe, to be or-derly-room clerks; Lce.-Corpls'. M. J. Bell, F. 0. Ziold, W. G. Mills, B Coy., 20th, to bo corporals; Ptes. E. E. Dickson, W. H. Lomas, W. J. Porteous, B Coy., 20th, to bo lance-cor-porals. The cup presented ty the Camp Commandant at Featherston for the bestkept huts has been awarded to.23rd N.Z.M.R. for the week ending October 28, with tho 21st Specialist Company second. The best tents and lines in tho Canvas Camp' for the week wero those of C Coy,, 20th, with B Coyi, 20th, second.
