Norway will reply to the German Note nest week. The Germans seized two steamers which were going to England, and destroyed a sailing, vessel. NORY/AY'S LATEST LOSSES, (Rec. October 28, 6.55 p.m.) Copenhagen. October 28. Norway has lost 268,000 tons in merchant tonnage- owing to the war. Their insured value was 103,000,000 kroner. As a preliminary reprisal against Norway, Germany has decided not to export motal plates to Holland without a guarantee that Holland will not use German maforial to repair Norwegian ships. He states that German submarines recently sank fourteen steamers off the Finnish coast, in tho Gulf of Bothnia.
