EXODUS OF ARMENIANS
FROM THE LAKE VAN DISTRICT. Australian-New Zealand Cable Association. London, October 26. Mr. George G'racey, a member of the American Mission in Armenia, successfully conducted the exodus of 25,000 Armenians and 6000 cattle from the Lako Van district. They covered 150 miles in five days, reaching Igdiah safely. Only 250 men wero armed, but they drove off marauding Turkish tribesmen with few casualties.
