COUNCIL MEETING. : Tho Miramar Borough Council met last ovening. There wero prcsout: Mr, F. Townscnd (Mayor), and Councillors Tracy, Pollock, and Green. Tho report of tho water supply for last year showed that 5 per cent, was tlie difference between, tho quantity purchased from tho City Council and tho quantity sold. During the first half of last year the expenditure 011 tho tramways exceeded the reeoipts by £1691. During tho first half of this year the exceeded the receipts by £161.
