Mr. Lloyd George, Secretary of State for War, denied that it was a breach of faith. In any case, the circumstances had changed. The' first consideration was to supply men, '■ and if these men were not taken the Anny would lose two army corps. ' REPLACEMENT OF WORKERS. (Eeuter's Telezram.V London, October 25. Mr. Runciman (President of tho Board of Trade) announces that a complete scheme for the replacement of. the eligible munition and other workers has been arranged, and will probably operate from Monday.
