HATAITAI BATHING CLUB
The annual meeting of the Hataitai Bathing Club was lioid on Tuesday night. Tho committee's report disclosed a satisfactory position. Tho club began tho season with a membership of 120 and ended with Lll—of
whom G4 are Jifo mombers and 77 ordinary members. Tho club continues to be in a strong financial position, and carries forward to the new yoar a. satisfactory balanco after providing for all liabilities. Tho year closed with a cash .balance of £32 ss. 10d., out of which it is proposed to make improvements to the shed and plant. The assets aro valued at £69,. 19s. lOd. more than the liabilities.
Officers were elected as under: — Patron, ,Dr. A. K. Newman, M.P.; president, Sir. E. A. Batt; vice-presi-dents, Messrs. If. 1). Edwards, F. Furkort, A. Bailand, G. IlaUiday, A. Baylield, J. S. Barton, and C. Penney; secretary and. treasurer, Mr. H. Linney; auditor, Mr. J. L. Arcus; committee, Messrs. C. Bcel, H. Hendersatij A. Buckmaster, J. T. Pettigrew, J. C. Burbery, C. Beasley, and H. Barnes.
