CHIEF CONTROL MEETS.
The annual meeting of tlie New Zealand Rowing Association was held in . the Star Boating Club's sheds last evening, Mr. 11. W. M'Villy presiding. j Mr. G. Lauchlan (Wanganui) moved: ■ "That the associations be requested to return, on the list of members annually sent to the New Zealand.Association, 1 the names of all aetivo members of clubs, under the jurisdiction of the New Zealand Association, who have gone to the front, and that the Council of the New Zealand Rowing Association be ■ authorised to remit such capitation fees." This was carried unanimously. . Tho election of officers resulted as . follows: President, Mr. F. D. Kestcven (Canterbury); vice-presidents, Messrs. P. Evans (Wanganui), and A. T. Farnior (Auckland); council, Messrs. R. W. M'Villy (chairman), E. Innes, G. Lauchlan, J. N. Barnes, S. L. Partridge, and J. B. "Widdop; honorary secretary and treasurer, Mr. A. D. Bayfield; hon. auditor, Mr. G. C. Fachc.
