CANADA'S CALL
STIRRING APPEAL FOR 100,000 RECRUITS. (Keulcr'a Tcleerain.) Ottawa, October 24. Sir Robert Borden, Prime Minister of Canada, in a stirring appeal for another hundred thousand enlistments, sajs that the climax of the war is rapidly approaching. Canada's _ last hundred thousand may he tho deciding factor. The ma.nhood of Canada must answer the challenge if the nation is to have abiding peace in tho future. Hitherto the enlistments have been more rapid than t.he transportation, but in the past few months they have greaily decreased.
