AN ANNOUNCEMENT. We have to announce that the second series of 1916 "Studebaker" caTs are now on their w»y to New Zealand, per b.s. Pakeha, from Montreal, ,due to arrive shortly. These oars come from the Canadian assembling end finishing branch, Walkerville, Ontario, and are remarkable for their exceptionally fine finish, necessitated by the demands of the over-* seas Studebaker trade. Many valuable detail improvements are incorporated in the second series models, one of the most noteworthy of these being the provision of independent and separately adjustable front seats of the "buoket" type, together with , adjustable pedals. This refinem'ent should especially appeal to the lady driver or the exceptionally tall or short man, whose comfort is not ad<w quately provided for by the usual fixed dimensions in the front of the car. An-" other important modification ib the ration of the petrol tank to the rear of the car, and the provision of a very effi--ienfc vacuum feed to carburetter, ihero are many minor modifications and . improvements, all designed fe> add to./tßa comfort and convenience of both driver and passengers, while in appearance tha car is handsomer than ever.
