BOYS' INSTITUTE
Monday was an eventful day for the boys of tho Institute, as the annual picnic and championship meeting, tho first in conncction with the new building in Tasman Street. The boys, who mustered 125 strong, went to Maidstono Park, and prepared to give an account of themselves in the Institute championships. About a dozen old members were in attendance, and rendered valuable assistance in connection with the raccs. Those who wore not keen on the sports went off with Scout Master H. Blair for a ramble in the bush, and thoroughly enioyed themselves. The results of tho charitpionships were as follow:—
