PLEASANT VALLEY SANATORIUM. By Telegraph—Press Association. Dunetiin, October 23. Tlio Minister of internal Affairs'(the Hon. G. W. Russell) visited tlio Pleasant Valley Sanatorium, near Palmcrston South, this morning. Inquiries wore inado regarding soldier patients, and proposals wero considered for ex- . tending tho building as rapidly as po'ssiblo to accommodate military cases as theso occur. Tho Minister, on liis return to Wellington, will with tho Departmental officers tho question of Uio Government taking over entire control of the institution from the Hospital Board. Tho Minister left for Cliristchurcli by tho first express from Polmcrston.
