The Minister in charge of the Imperial Supplies Branoh (the Hon. .W. D. S. MacDonald) will submit to the conference the information that has been received by the Government from the Prime Minister in London as to the terms he has been able to mate with the Board of Trade regarding prices and payment of storage, and other mattero. Mr. Massey has arranged for the payment of an increased price for New Zealand meat, which, it is understood, will mean in the year an increased income to the of ahont a million. It is understood, however, that the Imperial Board of Trade will not agree to any such interference .'with the disposal of the meat on the Home market as New Zealand producers hare on many occasions recently demanded. Apparently the Board of Trade takes the view communicated once by Sir Thomas Mackenzie in a statement he made on the 'subject—that the seller can have no further control over his goods after ownership in them has passed to an(other.
