OUR TREATMENT OF HUN PRISONERS
I : MISTAKEN KINDNESS. Australian-New Zealand Cable Assooiatioß,, London, October 22. ■ Sir. Thomas Ourtin, the Americaa' journalist, in an article in the "Daily; Mail," considers that England is misv taken in indulging the German 6oldier? prisoners, while the English prisoners are being maltreated. The British prisoners' are slowly ageing amid their harsh surroundings, and are weary with privation and hardship,, while the Germans in England are bountifully fed and cared for. The British should publish the facts of ther 111-treatment of her soldiers, as publicity and big shells are the only arguments to affect the Prussians. ::-;-:..;-.■'--.
