Tho competitions at the Wairarapa Show, to be held on the 25th and 26th, will bo quite up to tho high standard of previous years. The wrestling on horseback by tho v artillery will be a feature ' worth Boeing. ■ Tho men. have been training hard in order to win the prize especially allotted' by the society for .their'bonelit. A'very interesting exhibit at ithe ■Wairarapa. Show on Wednesday 'and 'Thursday next will be a pen of .five * purebred Highland cattle. Very few people in the Wairarapa have ever seen any of these cattle, and it maybe a jxory long time before the opportunity ' will again occur. Tho exhibit i s being made by Mr. T. W. M'Kensrie, who .purchased them at the Hawke's Bay 'Show.
