Tho Crown Theatre, Molesworth Street, is tho home of tho Fox films in Wellington, where they undoubtedly have a big vogue. The now programme, which will be presented today and this evening, will contain the latest Fox production, "Princess Romanoff," a picturisation of Snrdou's celebrated drama, "Fedora." Nanco O'Neil, America's greatest emotional star, features the Princes?. Full scope is given to her marvellous powers of dramatic expression in this big picture of political intrigue in Russia and America. •There are some strong supports as well. Heavy booking is anticipated.
MISS BEERE'S PUPILS. Tho entertainment arranged by Miss Estelle Beero in aid of Lady Liverpool's and tho Blue Cross Funds was repeated on Saturday afternoon and evening successfully, all the little ones acquitting themselves well. During tho evening Mr. Oswald Beere, on behalf of his sister, said that as the result of. the entertainment given at the Grand Opera House there would be a substantial amount to hand over to the funds concerned. As it was known that many had been prevented from attending owing to the very wet weather, it had been decided to repeat tho performance at an early date as soon as the Grand Opera House 6hould be available.
