Dalgety and Company, Ltd., report having held their' first sale of the season at - Pauhautanui on Wednesday, fhero was a large yarding of really good cattle, -whioh found a, ready sale at prices most satisfactory to vendors, a total cleai/ ance being effected. Buyers from outside districts were present in considerable force, and secured most of tho lots offered.
