Thero was a good attendance at Trentham yesterday to se.o tho filial gallops. The outside of tho course proper was open, and nearly all tho work was done on it. The going was a trifle dead in parte, but if the present fine weather continuos it will be perfeot for Satur-; day's races. ~ r. '>,- Seadown (A. Oliver) and Mascot' (C. Reed) were the first stripped. They, were sent seven furlongs, and the light-weight finished in front.
