CAMP NOTES
Tho following officers of the Twenty* fifth Reinforcements Infantry have reported at Treritbam for duty:—Major G. Wallace, Captains J. R. Kirk, T. Paterson, J. P. E. Veale, Lieutenants H. S. Atkinson, W. J. Cox, H. Johnston, 'J. H. A. M'Keefry, T. G. Robertson, W. B. Itule, H. W. Slater, 2nd Lieutenants C. C. Carncross, D. J. Willis, N. J. A. M'Keefry, G. X. B. Poppelwell, H. V. Searle, G. Wallace. Tho following returned soldiers having reported at Trentham for duty have' been posted to the infantry, Twenty-fifth Reinforcements: —Dvr. J. L. Bellerby, Sergt. S. Berryman, S.IL F. Dyer, Sergt. J. M. Gillies, Aot.Sergt. A. Georgetti, Sergt. N. R. Harper, Sergt. I. P. D. Stacker.
The following officers have been transferred as under at Featherston: — 2nd Lieut. W. H. Johns from 20th, Mounted Rifles, to Mounted H. G. Sec., 20th, Spec. Coy.; . 2nd Lieut. G. B. Fisher, from 24th, N.Z.A.S.C., to 22nd, N.Z.A.S.C.
The following are the teams chosen to represent Featherston Camp in the tug-or-war contest at the Labour Day sports to be held on MondayA Team —Lewis (21st, Spec. Coy.), Challish (G Coy.), Baker (G Coy.), Dunn (D Coy.), Hook (G Coy.), Lamb (D Coy.), Stephenson (20th, N.Z.F.A.). B Team — Morton (21st, Spec. Coy), Moore (21st, Spec. Coy.), Fogarty (21st, Spec. Coy.), W. Morton (D Coy.), Flavell (A Coy.), Gibson (D Coy.), Harkess (C Coy). Captains of teams: Sergt. Valentine, D Coy., and Pte. Munro, 21st, Spec. Coy. ; Emergencies—M'Millan, 21st, Spec. Coy., and Hancock, G Coy.
The following temporary appointments have been approved by the Camp Commandant at Featherston:— Lce.-Corpls. J. E. M'Veigh, A. Macphorson, 19fch. Spec. Coy., to be'corporal; Pte. W. Newton, N.Z.D.C., to bo corporal; Pte. F. A. Sanderson, N.Z.D.C., to be orderly-room clerk.
