Present indications are for freshening oust to north-cast winds, with increasing cloudiness northward of East Capo and Kawhia, and southerly, to westerly breezes elsewhere. Weather fair to cloudy generally; baromotor unsteady iu the northern districts, but littlo movement at present olsewhero. The barometer rose rapidly in the south during the night, while the westerly dis.turbaneo passed eastward, and is now reported at Chatham Islands.
