STANDARDISATION OF SCHOOLS

The Education Board to-day considered a letter from the_ Department regarding the standardisation of schools in the" Dominion, and requesting tho board to supply the Department with approved plans of various types o° schools either actually adopted or proposed to be adopted by the board. _ Iti was resolved that in lieu of supplying the information requested the board suggest that the Minister of Education call a conference in Wellington of board architects to discuss the standardisation of school plans.
