TRAFALGAR DAY
The Navy . League has arranged an attractive entertainment for the public in honour of the Allied Navies. Tho celebration at the Town Hall on Saturday evening should bear special _ significance ,upon this occasion, in view ot the n-reat work being done by the Na\y. Mr. T. Jf. Wilford, M.P., has consented to "ivc some details of naval matters, an if ill's. Hannah has prepared a pageant, which will iuelude spectacular inarches, dances, and vocal effects. A La roc orchestra will assist, and tho vocalists will 'lie Madame Anderson ami Messrs. Sisurd'Lcstnip and H. .I'. Wood. A small charge is to be made for reserved seats,'but the rest of the hall accommodation "will,be freo t-o* the public. The Patriotic 'Society's band will play appropriate selections. Most of tile colleges and. schools are sending a- number of senior pupils in charge' of teachers. Tho juniors are to bo catered for in the afternoon of Saturday at the King's Theatre and at the Star Theatre, Newtown, where "Britain Preparedwill be screened.
