NAVALS' BOATING CLUB
The annual meet-ins of the \\ ellinp;vim iVttvals'■ Woating Club was held last evening, Air. J. Rabe presiding. The annual report, which was adopted, stated that 11 now members had been elected during the year, making the membership 123. Subscriptions amounting to £16 10s., were outstanding. Members who have enlisted for active service are not being asked for subscriptions. Seven officers and 38 members of the society have enlisted to date. Arrangements have been made for the creation of an honours board, and two roll of honour boards —one for Old Wellington Navals, and the otller for members of the society It was decided to cnforce the rule which states that- 'any member owing his subscription for over a month after it is duo will be struck off the membership. The election of officers resulted as follows:—Patron, Col. C. J. Johnston; president, Col. J. Duncan; vice-presi-dents all re-elected; club captain, Mr. J. Alexander; deputy-captain, Mr. P. O'Connor; hon. treasurer, Mr. L. E. Judd; hon. secretary, Mr. G. A. Fiebig; executive committee, Messrs. P. M. Campbell, J. Clayden, L. Flowers, P. Overend, and E. Napier.
