Tile mine -manager reports, under date October 13:—"Over the No. 3 level on t-lio Goiconda. j'eef stopinp has been in hajjd. during- the past -week, and a- little sold was seen in the quartz broKen out. In. the Wynyardton -workings tho stopc off the rise shows gold, and is being saved for treatment. In the No._ 2 face that country 13 still somewhat disturbed, lu-tlio intermediate face there is strong quaTtz, but the country rock *8 ateo a little disturbed. We have made a start- driving out from the No. 3 level to cut the Wynyardton reef."
