Shorthorn, Horeford, and [■[Polled Angus cattle are all well represented, and competition will be of the '■keenest. The exhibition of pigs is like■|ly.to bo one of the h«Sst seen in Now bZealand for Borne years,- the entries in {that section totalling over 60. Horse ledinpetitions aro also particularly well (supported, practically every event showing an increase of entry. To anyone interested in Maori curios, the exhibi!tion will be very attractive, as tlie en- | trios in that section total nearly 150, j-against 63 last year; but the same re-j-mark applies to nearly all parts of the i.-show, and visitors are assured of beting able to spend an interesting and instructive two days at Hastings.
