Marchbanks, M.1.0.E.,' and X. Parry, B.Sc.; committee, Dr Macl'aunsi, Messrs. W. Ferguson, A. Atkins, It. Holmes, and B. Sladden; hon. secretary, Mr. S. H. Jenkinson. Professor Eastcrfield read an interesting paner on "Alloys from the point I of view (ft modern chemistry."
