THE NEW EXCHEQUER BONDS ISSUE .
A MINISTERIAL STATEMENT. Auatralian-Now Zealand Cabls Association. . London, October 10. Mr. M'Kcnna (Ohanceiior of the Exchequer), speaking in the Hou6o ,of Commons, stated that the issue of 6 per cent, bonds had been adopted hecause tho time did not appear favourable, for a long-dated loan. He would recommend a loaa at the first favourable opportunity.
