FORECAST AND SUMMARY AT 4 P.M. YESTERDAY. Present indications aro for strong southerly and. south-easterly winds, a-tmos-pherio pressure increasing temporarily everywhere. Expect unsettled and cloudy weather, with rain in most parts of tho oountry. The barometer is still below normal,, especially in the northern districts. Moderate to strong northerly and westerly .winds, have predominates northward of .New 'Plymouth and Napier, and eoutherlies have ruled elsewhere to-day, The weather has continued unsettled, and con. jsideroblo rain has fallen.
