Aspecial prize is offered by the New Zealand llolstein-Fresian Association for tho best fat bullock, showing Holstein breeding, exhibited at the Wairarapa Show. Tho same association also presents a gold medal for the exhibitor securing most points in Holstoin classes. For the first timo for somo years a Singer sowing machine, value £15 155., is the first prize in the weight-guessing competition for fat bulocks at tho Wairarapa Show; the Singer Sewing Machine Company having don- ! ated the machine for this purpose.
