MIRAMAR OPEN TOURNAMENT. morning (Tuesday) tho Miramar Ladies' Golf Club will commence an open tournament in aid of the Soldiers' Christmas Gift Fund. Tho wholo of tho proceeds, which will amount to over £20, will bo donated to the fund. Tho following is the draw for the first competition, event No. 1, medal handicap, and qualifying round of the championship (16 to qualify). The first couple start from the lirst toe at 9.30 on Tuesday morning, and tho others follow at intervals of four minutes. Tho players are as follow:— Mrs. Guy Williams plays Mrs. R. P. Ward; Mrs. Wagg plays Hiss J. Robicsou; Miss Dimajit plays Miss Carter; Mrs. Holmes plays Miss Ledger; Miss 15. Richardson; Miss Duthio plays Mrs. Hayman; Miss Christie plays Miss M. Ward; Mrs. Hayward plays Mrs. Henrv; Mrs. Webster plays Mrs. Firth.

MIRAMAR. CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP. Play for the Miramar Golf Club championship lias now been concluded, Mr. H. P. ISalnoavis being the winner. The rounds resulted as follow :—First round: R. ,L. D. Kidston heat F. T. Wilson, 11. R. Balneavis : beat W. T. Wynyard (by default); R. T. Ward beat B. L. Taylor; L. 11. Hurst beat L. C. Hales. Second round: H. R: Balneavis beat R. L. D. Kidston; L. D. Hnrst beat R. T. Ward. In the final (36 holes), H. R. Balneavis beat L. D. Hurst by three up and two to pfciy. i
Tile final of tho Jolinsonvillo Golf Club's championship was played on Saturday 'afternoon. The' match resulted in a win for Kent, who beat Redward 5 up and <t to play.
