HAWKE'S BAY SHOW
Entries for tho forthcoming Hawke's Bay Show closed on Wednesday, and contrary •to expectations they have come in remarkably well.' The final count cannot be mado until lato entries have arrived, but comparing the figures with those of the closing night of last year, the secretary states that' it would appear that there is an increase in every section. There will be a very fine display of cattle especially. Tho beef cattle breeds predominate as usual at Hastings, but all breeds of dairy cattle will also be well represented; Outside entries have come along better -than usual, and these will include several South Island entries, as well as many from Taranaki, Wanganui, Rangitikei, Manawatu, Wairarapa, Poverty Bay, and Wairoa.
