ENLISTMENTS IN WELLINGTON: The Town Hall Recruiting Office was busy again yesterday, the papers of more than fifty men being handled during the day. The response, of the registered men, who are required, under'tho new system, to tako lhe,.oath continues, to be fairly good. Some of these men do not appear,, and are. struck off 'the list of. volunteers, but tho ! majority are coming forward for attestation. ..It isnoticeable, however,' that many men who had stated when registering under, the old system that, tliey would, be' ready to outer camp .with., a particular draft ar& asking' to be assigned to' a later draft now that attestatioii is;being insisted'upon';.
