The annual meeting of shareholders. in the Wairarapa, Farmers' Co-operative Association was held on Wednesday afternoon. The chairman ol directors (Mr. N. Oasolborg), in moving the (Adoption of the report and balance-sheet, pointed out to the fact that the past year had shown o, profit of £15,273 155., as against £14,11J 19s. last year. Ho. said it wa6 pi-oposed to pay a dividend of 8 per cent., free of income tan. The assets of the company were shown at £177,230 above the liabilities. During tho year tho auctioneering business of Messrs. Abraham and Williams, Ltd., in the Wairarapa, had • been acquired, also the business of the U.F.C.A.
