WAIRARAPA FARMERS.' CO-OP. AiSSOOIATION. (From Our Own Correspondent.) Mastorton, October 5. The annual meeting of shareholders. in the Wairarapa, Farmers' Co-operative Association was held on Wednesday afternoon. The chairman ol directors (Mr. N. Oasolborg), in moving the (Adoption of the report and balance-sheet, pointed out to the fact that the past year had shown o, profit of £15,273 155., as against £14,11J 19s. last year. Ho. said it wa6 pi-oposed to pay a dividend of 8 per cent., free of income tan. The assets of the company were shown at £177,230 above the liabilities. During tho year tho auctioneering business of Messrs. Abraham and Williams, Ltd., in the Wairarapa, had • been acquired, also the business of the U.F.C.A. It was proposed to issuo £100,000.worth of preference shares, healing 6 per cent. The report was adopted. Messrs. A. Oasclbcrg, .1. Oiselberg, and V. K Donald were reelected directors, and Messrs. O. 0. Cooper and "Martin Elgar wcro Appointed to All vacancies on the directorate caused by the retirement of Messrs. D. J. Nathan nnd-Jj. Oaeelbcrg. Messrs.
