MIRAMAR LIGHTING
. Tho Lighting Committee of the Wellington City Council forwarded to tlie council last ovoning a _ report from tho manager of. the lighting department with respect to tho application of tho Miramav Borough Council for a supply of electricity for their street lighting system. _ They recommended that tho application should bo granted on tho conditions proposed by the gonoral manager,' with a variation in tho condition with respect to moonlight nights to provide that the lamps in tho borough shaU_ bo lit on tho same nights as those during which they are lit in tho outlying portions of the' City. Tho report was adopted.
