The following 'appointments, promotions, and transfers of officers of tho Staff and Territorial i'orco bays been approved:— Staff.—Captain (temporary Major) Hubert H. Wright, Army Service Corps, having proceeded on. active service, relinquishes his appointment as Director of Supplies and Transport. Captain.(temporary) Francis E. Ostler, Army Service Corps, from DeputyDirector of Supplies and Transport to be Director of Supplies and Transport, vice Captain (temporary Major) Hubort H. Wright. 11th (North Auckland) Mounted Rifles.—Lieut. Olaf P. Johnson, sinco killed in action, to" be captain, under the provisions of paragraph 111, General Regulations, 1913. Dated August S, 1916. ' - ■Corps of New Zealand Engineers.— 2nd Lieut. Thomas O. La'mbio to bo lieutenant N.Z. Post and Telegraph Corps. 11th Regiment (Taranaki Rifles) .*•- Lieut. Walter B. Johnstone, from the Reserve of Officers, to be lieutenant. ■ 12th (Nelson) Regiment.—Maurice J. O'Connor, to be 2nd lieutenant (temporary) vico Lieut. Rogers, on active service. N.Z. Army Service Corps.—2nd Lieut. John .C. Holland is struck oS the strength of the N.Z. Expeditionary, Force and absorbed in the establishment, with rank of lieutenant. N.Z. Forces Motor Service Corps.— 2nd Lieut. A. E. A. M'Dougall to bo lieutenant, under the provisions of paragraph 683 (b), General Regulations, 1913. N.Z. Medical Corps.—Lieut.-Golonol (Major) Ernest E. -Porritt, M.D., relinquishes his appointmont as' principal medical officer in Samoa, and is absorbed, with tho rank of major.
