SWIMMING
On Saturday evening last a 33 1-3 yards handicap for boys was held at the public tepid baths. The following, were the results First lieat: C. Ross, losec., 1: W. Hanlo.v, 9sec., 2. Also started: G. Lefcham, W. Hawke, W. Thomas. Second Heat: E. Thornlull, 2sec., 1; D. Galliclian, ser., 2. Also started: J. Watkins, Bsec.; P. Mumford, 6sec.; N. Bing, 4sec.; S. Atkinson, lOsec. Third Heat: Palette, •!sec., 1; T. Columb, scr., '2. Also started: C. Rusterholtz , Bsec.,; L. Barker, lUsec. Pinal: 0. Ross, 1; T. Columb, y. Also started: W. Hanley. D. Gallichan, E.' Thornliill, ard Palotte. Next Saturday evening a 100 yards breast strolto handicap, will be held for boys. The winner will receive a Bilvor modal, presented by Mr. W. H. and the second_ boy will receive a prize. There will bo no entrance fee, and entries will be taken before the commencement of the race at 7.30 o'clock. Commencing on Saturday ovening next, a gold medal will be awarded to the boy who starts and finishes in the greatest number of races.
