giiu—l was interested in reading a paragraph of your issue of September 28 which \ stated "that tho chairman r of the Wellington Education-Board was , e advised by a lawyer that-it wouty be fc illegal for tho members'to receive advanced copies of the minutes, and that; o such minutes should be "taken as 0 read." May I say that the minutes of meetings of the Town Council of a borough in tho County of Surrey (of which I was a member for many years) e were always so received and treated, n without dispute.—l am, etc., t • •' A.A. •
