Tie expenditure totalled £004,801,729, compared with £674,497,420 for the oorrespondinsc period of last year.
NEW EXCHEQUER BOND ISSUE Australian-New Zealand Cable Atsooiation. London, September SO. The prospectus tag been issued for tlie new issue of 6 per cent. Exchequer Bonds at par. Tho amount is unlimited, and the bonds are redeemable in February, 1920.
