(Renter's Telegram.) New .York] October 1. The British have sent a hundred inuoured "tanks" to Russia, taking laval,officers from tho dockyards where ihey were completed. The "tanks" are 25fi>. long, 10ft. wide, and 12ft. high. They weigh 30 tons, including the guns. GERMAN GIBE AT OUR NEW FIGHTING MACHINE (United Service.) Amsterdam, October 1. The German newspaper "Lokal Anseicor" claims that the "tanks" wore invented by a German engineer years jgo. "The British contrivance is only i feeble imitation." TWO ■RECRUITS ONLY HAD PERFECT TEETH!
