A SPRING SALE

4 The attention of our lady readers in particular will no- doubt be attracted by the two-page, two-colour advertisements of Messrs. George and Kersley, of the Economic, Wellington and Wanganui, appearing in this issue. Messrs. George and Kersley are the first of the ,t>ig local drapery establishments to take advantage of the opportunity for twocolour display in newspaper advertising made available by th'e installation of a large neiv Annand Botary Printing Press for the printing of The Dominion. This printing press is the largest and ues't-equipped of it s kind ever brought into this district—possibly in New Zealand. It is capable of doing many things that the ordinary newspaper .printing machines are not built to do, and one of these is colour printing. There is considerable difficulty just now -m securing, suitable coloured printing inks, and much better results will be achfeved in this department later on, wh'en these become available. Messrs. George and Kersley are advertising their spring sale, which opens on MonffSy next, and the attractions they offer are spread over two pages of printed matter, and these include only a fraction of what the bargain-seekers may look forward to securing by an early visit to the firm's establishments here or at Wanganui.
