Parkin, "59; and. Chandler, 56;. total, 629. Brooklyn's bid for the shield works out at,an averago of 62.9. Sir. Wiggins officiated as umpire. A friendly match was fired ori Wednesday between teams representing the Wellington B&st aiid Wellington South Companies of the National Reserve. Additional interest was lent to the match, as the scores count for the Osmond Shield. The. result was an easy win for Wellington Soutli by 48 points. Wellington South scores were as follow:—Haase, 67; Watterson, 66; Ayers, 64; Evans, 64; Lippitt, 62; Kuch. 59; Anderson, 52; Parker, 49; Hassall, 47 ; Gracie, 36; total, 566.
