SYDNEY BOAT. ■ This week's Sydney boat, the Itivcrina. which sent a wireless messago on Sunday to say she would be in port at 9 a.m. yosterdey, arrived at 8.55, and berthed at No. 1 South Queen's Wharf, after a good run across from Sydney. She brought transhipments from the Cacique. Durham. Knimala, Cooma, Aki Aiaru. Goulburn, Bia Taiyuan, Dunachton. Kotsu Mara. St. Albans, Ostcrley Katoomba Oanbirra, Brisbane Eiver, and Dilkira, and her cargo amounted in all to 1500 tons. She leaves at 5 p.m. to-day for Lyttelton. arriving in time to connect with the first oxprcss, end will return and sail for Sydney again on Thursday. WIJIMERA AGAIN' DELAYED. Owing to very heavy rain in Melbourne, i.no departure of the Wimniera for Wellington has again been postponed, and she will in all probability leave somo timo to-day. From information made available (fays the Sydney "Shipping List") is appears that excellent progress is being made with the construction of the thrco Shaw, Savill and Albion liners Mahana. Jlahia. and Baranga, and that very soon -now. they should be ire commiasion. The Ma.hana will bo the largest of the trio (12,000 tons register), and probably she will bo the first placed in the running. The Karoo is due to sail at 11 a.m. today for Westport. where she will load for Port Chalmers. The Monowai ie duo to-day from northern ports, and will sail this evening for Lyttelton and Duncdin. The OoTinna was to leave New Plymouth at midnight last night, and is duo here to-day. Sho loads back to New Plymouth. The Japanese ■steamer Akita Maru is to ■ leave for Japan, via Australia, this morning, at 10 o'clock. .The Ana.u should leave Auckland on September 30 for Wellington:. Lyttelton, Thnaru. and Dunedin. She is due- here about October 3. and will probably sail oti the same day for the south. The Eosamond sails for Groymouth today, .and loads timber for Wellington. She will be due bak here on Thursday.
