PETONE FIRE BRIGADE
At the monthly meeting of tho Petono Firo Brigade, hold at the station on Thursday evening, the. annual presentation of honours took place. Superintendent Lepper and Deputy Ryder made the presentations. The following received awards:—Five-year service medal, Firemen O. Lopper and Silbery; three-year service certificates, Firemen Jones and Whitcher; twoyear service bars, Superintendent Lepper, 25 years' service; Deputy-Super-intendent Ryder, 13 years; Fireman W. Shardlow, 27 years; Fireman H. Shardlow, 13 years; Fireman May, .9 years; Fireman Selwood, 13 years.
